PowderPals connects you with new people. Here's how to do that smartly — off the mountain and on it.

MEETING NEW RIDERS

  • Chat in the app first, and keep it there until you're comfortable.
  • Hop on a quick video call before committing to a trip together.
  • Meet first somewhere public — the resort base, a café, the lift line.
  • Tell a friend your plans: who, where, when.
  • Trust your gut. If something feels off, bail. You owe nobody an explanation.

ON THE MOUNTAIN

  • Never ride alone off-piste. That's half the reason this app exists.
  • Match terrain to the group's least experienced rider, not the biggest ego.
  • Check the weather and the avalanche bulletin before first chair.
  • Agree on meeting points before you drop in.

YOUR ACCOUNT

  • You control what's on your profile — share what you're comfortable with.
  • If someone makes you uncomfortable, email us at info@powderpals.org. We take it seriously.
  • You can delete your account anytime in the app's settings.
